Hello all! I am back. While the world is on pause and I am trying to stay safe at home, I thought it would be a great time to restart my blog.
I made this quick and easy Triple Easel Card during our Saturday Night Crafters Facebook Live event this week.
I have been using my time at home in safe mode to organize my craftroom since it also doubles as my home office for the immediate future. Going through all of my supplies has been a fun adventure. I am discovering all my old supplies and trying to do something crafty everyday.
Craig Laird Crafters Companion has a 50 Shades of Saturday challenge this week to make a card featuring the color purple. This was right up my alley since purple is one of my favorite colors. I spotlighted one of my favorite papers from the Crafter’s Companion Sara Signature Vintage Lace Paper pack. I inked the edges of the paper with Vintage Photo Distress Ink for an even more vintage look. I matted the card layers on Crafter’s Companion Kraft card using white layers.
I embellished the easel card with sentiments and images from Stampin’ Up!’s retired Apothecary Art and Great Friend stamp sets and embossed in Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold embossing powder. I used Labels Collection Framelits to mat the stamped sentiments and embossed the gold butterfly from SU! Great Friend stamp set. I used the On Your Birthday stamp from Crafter’s Companion’s subscription box 11 and pearls from subscription box 23.
If you are looking to craft along please join us in the Saturday Night Crafters Facebook Group.
