Angel easel card

After hours of Black Friday shopping online, I finally sat down and created this card that has been knocking around in my head for the last few days. A friend requested a special holiday card for his son to give to his aunt. This was what I came up with.

Here is a close up of the Angel Emma stamp by C.C. Designs and the snowflake I custom colored with the copic abs using E50 and E51. I popped the top layer up with a dimensional and placed a rhinestone sticker in the center. I finished it off with diamond stickles. I added diamond stickles to the angel's halo and belt as well. Finally I added star dust stickles to the wings.

I printed out a cute poem in brown ink and roughed up the edges and stuck it on the top half of the card base.

Copic colors used: E25, E27, E29, E47, E49, E50, E51, E53, RV25

The Holiday cards are finally ready!

I took ages, but I have finally finished my first batch of Holiday cards. I was making them to sell in packs of 5 cards each so you can imagine how much coloring, cutting and gluing was involved. I have already sold 10 boxes!!!

The first card below uses the Olive and Toasty image from Whimsie Doodles. This is my favorite card. A few people have already placed orders for this one. (Cards are $5 per 5 card pack/envelopes included- email me at michellena317@comcast.net to place an order).

Inside the cards feature one of the following sentiments:

Wishing you all the joys of the season and the best in the coming year! (landscape cards)

or

Season's Greetings and all good wishes for the New Year (portrait cards)

Below is the Kitty with tree image from C.C. Designs Christmas Time set.

Next features Angel Emma from C.C. Designs.

Baby Shower for Ava Marie

This past weekend I was very busy getting ready for my best friend's baby shower. I can't wait until she arrives in January, I am going to be her favorite baby sitter Auntie Mich Mich! I can't believe I am voluntarily signing up for dirty diaper duty. Thank goodness we gave her a Diaper Genie to keep the smelly diapers from stinking up the joint.

I have to say the little Winnie the Pooh in the pink sleeper is the most adorable gift that Ava got. Everyone took turns carrying it around pretending that Winnie was Ava, even her father, Lou! So cute!
