Sparkling Snowflakes Stack Shuffle And Slice Technique and Last Chance sale

Last weekend, Caron Bailey joined us in the Saturday Night Crafters group and demonstrated the Stack, Shuffle and Slice Technique to help inspire us to get our holiday cards done.  

I used her tutorial to make 2 different slice templates and made 8 holiday cards, 2 layout versions, each card having a slightly different background.

I used the Winter Meadow DSP and Snowflake Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper with Lost Lagoon Cardstock and Three Color Glimmer Paper in Pretty Peacock and Soft Shimmer Paper in Lost Lagoon for my mats.

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon punch and some White Iridescent and Silver and White Sheer ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I added Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins to my sentiment panel for some extra sparkle.

All of my cards used the Sparkling Snowflake and Joy to You stamp sets.

Cardbases: (4 per layout) 5 1/2" x 81/2" 

Coordinating Cardstock: (4 per layout) 4" x 5 1/2" ( I used shimmer paper)

Basic White Cardstock: (4 per layout) 3 3/4" x 5" and (4 per layout) 4 x 5 1/4" for inside panels

Designer Series Paper : (4 different prints  per layout) 3 3/4" x 5"

This Book Binding Pop Out Fun Fold is one of my favorites.  I tried a new technique for me, which is coloring with Stampin' Blends on vellum.  I colored on the polka dot printed vellum and die cut out the petals using the Translucent Floral dies to make my flower. I layered them over Rose Gold foil petals.  

The pop out center of the card is such a fun surprise.

Card Measurements:

Cardbase: 4 1/4" x 11" Night of Navy Cardstock scored at 4 1/4"  and 5 1/2"

Designer Series Paper: 1" x 4", 6" x6" 4"x 4"

Basic White Cardstock: (2) 2 1/2"x 2 1/2" and 4" x 5"

6"x6" DSP is scored in half and rotated and scored in half again, then folded in half diagonally.
