Fun Fold Friday: Peace And Joy Fold Back Card

TGIF!!! I am so incredibly excited for World Card Making Day tomorrow.  I have stamped my own background papers, cut lots of die cuts, and colored a ton of pieces to put together while I attend the virtual Creativate event tomorrow.  I am ready to achieve my goal of making 20 cards by the end of World Card Making Day.

Here is card # 8.  This is a Fold Back fun fold inspired by Rhonda Wade.
I used her basic measurements for the base and then let my stamps and dies dictate how I put it together.

Technique Tuesday: Scrappy Strip Peace & Joy

Welcome to another Technique Tuesday.  Today we are trying the Scrappy Strip technique and making more non-traditional colored holiday cards.

I am counting down to World Cardmaking Day and these are a few of my cards toward my goal of making 20 holiday cards by the end of the week.  7 down and 13 to go!

Here is an instructional video on how I put these cards together.

I am also celebrating an accomplishment.  I received a promotion to Silver title Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I received this adorable silver necklace this week from Stampin' Up! to commemorate achieving this goal.  I am absolutely thrilled and I am having more fun being part of the Stampin' Up! community than I knew was possible.  I joined looking for something I could take part in during quarantine, and for the discount too!

I would love for some of you to join our fun team.  We have monthly virtual get togethers and also have a Facebook Group online where we hold monthly workshops - Saturday Night Crafters group.

You can join my team as a discount shopper and receive 20% off future orders for the next 3 months with no obligations by simply purchasing the a customized Starter Kit at $99.  The Get and Go joining promotion is ending tomorrow.  If you join today or tomorrow, on top of your starter kit goodies, you will also receive rhinestones, 2 free additional stamp sets and a card kit kit that makes 16 cards. Make It Monday: Joy Card

Happy Monday Crafty Peeps!

I am excited to share the project that I made during Mystery Stamping with Sharon Armstrong.  I love starting the week with this creative activity.  Following Sharon's clues always leads me to trying something new or using something I have in a different way than I have before.  I am really loving this color combination.  Check back in tomorrow for Technique Tuesday for a video featuring a project with similar supplies and theme.

In honor of World Cardmaking Day this weekend, I set a goal to make 20 holiday cards by the end of this week.  This is card # 4.

I think I will try this one again in a few different color schemes.  I absolutely love how the embossing onto the stamped background adds to the retro vibe of the card.
