Crafty Fun Z Fold Card

The Sara Signature Crafty Fun range from Crafter’s Companion is full of fun dies and papers. I used that great Z Fold card technique adapted from Kelly Acheson (see my May 18th post for details) to showcase my favorite patterns from the Crafty Fun 6 x6 paper pad.

The fabulous envelope die and flowers are all from a die set in the range called Sealed With Love. I love that it comes with a couple of choices for the in laid cut in designs as well as decor and cute sentiment dies.

There will be a Facebook Live on the Crafter’s TV page on Wednesday Creative Cravings show featuring the Crafty Fun range. Check it out.

Fun Birthday Cards

In our Saturday Night Crafters Facebook group we share a love of several of the same company's products including Crafter's Companion, Tonic Studios, Diamond Press and Stampin' Up. We love discovering and sharing all new products with each other but we also have a lot of the same supplies.  This week we made fun freestyle Birthday cards using Crafter's Companion December Balloon Sentiments Craft Box.  The box is great because it includes coordinating stamps, embellishments, dies, cards, ribbon, twine, paper and cardstock.  I decided to make two cards.

I made a Center Step card base using some Hunky Dory Cardstock a while ago and had never come up with a concept to decorate it.  When I saw the patterned paper in this box, I knew I could make a really cute Birthday card using that base.

I stamped out Hello Friend using the balloon stamps and Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.  I matted those onto the patterned paper and edged around it with Nuvo Glitter Marker then matted that onto some of the purple cardstock from the box.   I added some cute Shimelle Sparkle City Glitter Enamel Stickers and drew in some balloon strings with a black pen.

I used some of the left over purple cardstock and added some Versamark Ink all over then embossed with Holographic embossing powder. Next I die cut the balloon die out of my custom sparkly paper and added those on the steps of my card.  I finished the card off by stamping It's Your Day and Have Fun.

For my second card, I decided to keep it simple and showcase some of the patterned paper.  I embossed Happy Birthday balloons with White Embossing Powder directly onto the patterned paper and stamped some confetti using Pink Tulip and Jade Green Harmony Opaque Pigment Ink.  I stamped my sentiment "Wishing You A Very" in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and added some Studio Katia Crystal Clear Confetti and finished things off with some Noble Peacock Rhinestones from Stampin' Up!

Crafty Fun Card

Today's card was a card challenge we did on Friday and Sunday in the Card Making - learning as we go group on Facebook.  We decided to create our own version of this Crafter's Companion design team card.

My version is a bit smaller, I decided to make a 6 x 6 foldback card.  Since this card is much smaller than the original project I ended up placing the artist palette die cut on the inside of the card.  I really like how this card turned out.

Supplies:
Crafter's Companion Sara Signature Crafty Fun Collection dies, Red Pearl Cardstock and embossing folder
Crafter's Companion White Stamping Card
Crafter's Companion Matt Black Cardstock
Gold Mirror Cardstock
Parklane 12 x 12 110 lb White Cardstock for card base

Birthday Wishes

Today's card is a Birthday card that I made for a crafty friend.  I tried to keep it clean and simple so I could hand it off to the mailman.

I arranged some negative pieces from a dress design cut in card front I made with my Cricut Joy then popped on a die cut sentiment from Crafter's Companion on a Centura Pearl tent fold card base.  For some sparkle and to finish things off, I added Gold Fever Confetti from Studio Katia that I received yesterday.
