Make It Monday: Joy Card

Happy Monday Crafty Peeps!

I am excited to share the project that I made during Mystery Stamping with Sharon Armstrong.  I love starting the week with this creative activity.  Following Sharon's clues always leads me to trying something new or using something I have in a different way than I have before.  I am really loving this color combination.  Check back in tomorrow for Technique Tuesday for a video featuring a project with similar supplies and theme.

In honor of World Cardmaking Day this weekend, I set a goal to make 20 holiday cards by the end of this week.  This is card # 4.

I think I will try this one again in a few different color schemes.  I absolutely love how the embossing onto the stamped background adds to the retro vibe of the card.

Sketch Sunday: Merry & Bright

Welcome back to Sketch Sunday!

This week in the Saturday Night Crafters Facebook Group, we worked on holiday cards.

Here is your weekly inspiration sketch to get you started on making cards for the holidays.  My goal is to be finished making holiday cards before Thanksgiving this year.  I am well on my way, but thought this sketch would lend itself to doing stamp a stacks.  This is a simple design that can be used with any stamps, colors and sentiments.  I made 3 different versions to show you the versatility of the sketch and to hopefully inspire you.

As always please feel free to use this sketch in any way you wish and please post your projects online and tag me so I can see! Feel free to post your projects in our Saturday Night Crafters Facebook Group.
