WOYWW! Shimmery Trimming The Town

Happy Wednesday!  It is #WOYWW and I found a cute background that I made using shimmery embossing paste on Night Of Navy cardstock on my desk.

I turned that into a quick easy card by die cutting and layering the houses from the Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper using the Home Together Dies.  I added a sentiment from the In The Pines stamp set and cut it out using a label from the Tasteful Labels die set. I added some smoke plumes with a sponge and some Whisper White Craft Ink.   I finished it off with some adhesive backed snowflakes and finally some Shimmery Crystal Effects for a shiny glass like look on the windows of the house.

All of the shimmery and iridescent accents on this card make it a really special one that took very little time to make if you do your snow effect with the embossing paste a head of time and let it dry.

Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper is on sale this month at 15% off and some of the proceeds will be donated to Family services charities.
