WOYWW Fancy Evergreen Easel Card

Welcome back to the blog and WOYWW.  What's on my workdesk?  A fancy easel card that was in my PHD collection (Projects Half Done).  I finally put all of the pieces together and came up with this Evergreen Forest scene.

I used the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder to emboss over the tree scene from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper.  I sponged some Pretty Peacock ink and Champagne Mist Shimmer Ink over the embossed trees.

I love how the ornate layers dies add a fancy finish to the matted layers of this card. I rounded the corners of the layers with the Detailed Trio Punch.  I added some wood grain pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series paper to add some contrast to the easel stand of the card.  I colored some Clear Epoxy droplets with the dark Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends marker to match my card.

Technique Tuesday: Scrappy Strip Peace & Joy

Welcome to another Technique Tuesday.  Today we are trying the Scrappy Strip technique and making more non-traditional colored holiday cards.

I am counting down to World Cardmaking Day and these are a few of my cards toward my goal of making 20 holiday cards by the end of the week.  7 down and 13 to go!

Here is an instructional video on how I put these cards together.

I am also celebrating an accomplishment.  I received a promotion to Silver title Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I received this adorable silver necklace this week from Stampin' Up! to commemorate achieving this goal.  I am absolutely thrilled and I am having more fun being part of the Stampin' Up! community than I knew was possible.  I joined looking for something I could take part in during quarantine, and for the discount too!

I would love for some of you to join our fun team.  We have monthly virtual get togethers and also have a Facebook Group online where we hold monthly workshops - Saturday Night Crafters group.

You can join my team as a discount shopper and receive 20% off future orders for the next 3 months with no obligations by simply purchasing the a customized Starter Kit at $99.  The Get and Go joining promotion is ending tomorrow.  If you join today or tomorrow, on top of your starter kit goodies, you will also receive rhinestones, 2 free additional stamp sets and a card kit kit that makes 16 cards.
