I love how this card came out! I finally got my hands on some Neenah paper to use with my Copics. I also tried something new and used Prima flowers and colored pearls along with my fun new sewing technique. I have even started making my cards backwards, just putting together card bases and then choosing the stamped image and colors to match the base. And I am using buttons. I have them but barely ever use them. I dug out my ancient stash of ribbons from the basement, too. I am so pleased with the results! I have been practising and practising with my copics trying to blend lightly and get a nice light colored effect on the paper to no avail until I tried it on the Neenah paper. I think I see why everybody likes it so much.
This is by far the favorite card I have ever made. I am entering it in the Guest Designer Call over at Whiff of Joy. You can read the details over at Katharina's blog. You have until September 19th to enter.
