Happy Valentine's Day! We are usually all about layouts and Fun Folds on this blog but today I have a fun technique for you.
Have you ever used blending brushes to apply the ink to your stamps before?
If you haven’t, you should. It gives the coolest ombré airbrushed effect!
For this Blending Brushes Direct To Stamp Technique I used the Calming Camellia Host Stamp Set that you can earn with a qualifying $300 order or workshop order.
I used Fresh Freesia Highland Heather and Rich Razzleberry ink pads and CardStock.
I inked my stamp with Fresh Fressia then used my blending brushes to tap on Highland Heather and Rich Razzleberry ink in random places on the stamp and concentrated the darker inks especially around the edges on the image. Ten I stamped on Basic White CardStock.
So easy, and the result makes the floral image really pop.
I stamped the floral image on my Fresh Freesia tent fold card base in Fresh Fressia ink and then I matted my image and sentiment using Contour dies and added a bow with Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon.
I stamped the edges on the inside of my card using the floral image and added a sentiment using a stamp from the Love and Happiness stamp set and a left over Stampin Blends colored heart from the Sweet Talk Bundle dies which makes great heart confetti.
