Today's Valentine card idea is based on a basic card layout sketch that I did in my sketch binder. I made two different cards using the same exact dimensions and just switched them up a bit by angling the sentiment layer on one of the cards.
I used the Sweet Conversations Bundle including the stamp set and dies along with the matching Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.
On my first card I used a Thick Basic White card base and Basic Black mat layers.
Rainbow Stripe and Ombre Sentiment:
I added adhesive sheet to the back of a piece of Basic White Cardstock and then used Stampin' Blends markers and colored them in swatches of rainbow colors then die cut out the string of hearts die cut shapes. I popped up the inside hearts with dimensionals.
I colored the sentiment by coloring directly on the stamp from the Love and Happiness Stamp Set with coordinating rainbow colors of Stampin' Write markers.
On my second card, I used a Blushing Bride card base and Highland Heather mat layers.
I die cut the string of hearts out of Highland Heather Cardstock then stamped my sentiment in Highland Heather ink. I die cut my conversation heart right out of the Designer Series Paper.
Card Measurements:
Base: 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/5"
Mat Layer: 4" x 5 1/4
Small Mat Layer: 3 7/8" x 1 5/8"
Sentiment Layer: 3 7/8" x 1 1/2"
Designer Series Paper: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
