Here is a Page Corner Bookmark that I made for my Dad.
This is how the page corner bookmark looks when you mark your page in your book. This is a cute and simple project you can make in under 5 minutes.
All you need is a piece of cardstock 5" square, some adhesive and some embellishments.
I used Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP because it is cardstock weight.
1. Fold your 5" square in half once horizontally and once vertically to divide into fourths.
2. Cut away one fourth of the paper.
3. Fold the two remaining "arms" down and back to form a pocket and adhere the two bottom pieces to one another being careful to leave the pocket open on the left and bottom side.
4. Decorate your bookmark as desired.
I stamped and cut out circles from the Circle Circus stamp set and adhered them on the front and back of the bookmark in a diagonal design. Next I colored a chipboard "H" for (Harry, my Dad) with a soft suede stampin' write marker and adhered that over top of the center circle. Next I added a very vanilla grommet to the top left corner taking care to only stick the points through the top layer of the bookmark. Finally I took a 10" piece of kraft taffeta ribbon and tied that onto the grommet. I fixed a metal hinge embellishment from my hodgepodge hardware kit onto the end with a brad and secured it to the back of the ribbon with crystal effects. This will keep the end of the ribbon from fraying overtime.
Viola! A cute handmade gift for my Dad!
